Laser Hair Removal

On the day of your procedure, we'll have you get comfortable in one of our private treatment rooms as the needed areas of your skin are cleaned to remove dirt, oil, and lotions. During the procedure, we will stretch out the treatment area to provide a direct path between the hair follicle root and the Icon MaxG laser. The energy from the laser will target and destroy the hair follicle, which prevents it from growing back. On average, you will need 3 – 5 treatments over 3 – 4 weeks to achieve your best results.

This staggering allows the affected areas time to recover and time for follicles that were in the dormant phase of growth to reach the phase of active growth so they can be treated. The state-of-the-art laser hair removing technology we use at Ageless Aesthetics targets the hair follicle alone, which preserves the skin in the treatment area. While laser hair removal is mostly gentle in nature, your skin may look like it has a mild sunburn due to the use of lasers. After your session, you will be able to go back to your daily activities, but you should avoid strenuous activity or sun exposure for a day to let the treated areas recover. When you get home after your session, we recommend soothing creams or cold packs to treat any mild discomfort.
